World Health Day 2008  |   Best of Health to All!

World Health Day PosterJust as a healthy mind develops in a healthy body... Healthy citizens sculpt a healthy nation.

There are many factors that lead to a healthy body like following a good exercise regime, eating a balanced diet, keeping mind stress free and lot more.

The United Nations commemorates 7th April as World Health Day to create awareness of a specific health theme to highlight a priority area of concern for the World Health Organization (WHO).

This year World Health Day commemorates and draws worldwide attention on the theme: Protecting Health From Climate Change.

The theme puts health at the core of the global dialogue recognizing the ever-growing perils to the global public health due to serious issues like global warming, natural disasters, heat waves, growing rate in food borne, waterborne, and vector-borne illness, diseases due to air pollution and so on...

With this, there is an increased collaboration from various global communities to be better prepared to survive against all odds from climate-related health challenges worldwide.

The National Portal of India wishes all a happy life through better health.
